When I was in the midst of wedding planning, a wedding guestbook was not one of my priorities. All I could picture is we are having a small wedding and here is this thick book with the first 2 pages filled out. It felt like a formality and something that didn’t have excitement. The concept of a wedding guestbook mixed with non-traditional vibes was what I was after. If we were going to have one at all.
While I was all over the internet looking for various pieces for the wedding, I came across a company called Meaningful Frames. The more I looked at their website the more I knew this was the unique and memorable guestbook I was looking for!
I had questions if this would be the best idea for a small wedding. My biggest concern was that we would have this beautiful frame and it would only be 1/4 full; and look like nobody came to the wedding lol. I sent a message on their website, connected with the owner Bruce, and the vision came from there! They are so fast to respond and happily walked me through.
Customization
The customization that Meaning Frames offers is something that makes their pieces so special. You can choose everything from the color of the frame to the size, color, and shape of the drops. If you don’t see something on their website, ask! Another amazing customization piece to this was the size of the frame. I jumped on a call with Bruce, and he asked questions that would allow him to suggest the appropriate size frame for the amount of guests we had attending. He even factored in that most times a couple will sign as one. Something that I would have never thought about. They also sent me a few different proofs so I could see how the different wording designs would look on the frame shape we chose.
Memories
With a traditional guestbook, you would most likely tuck it away in a box somewhere. With this framed guestbook, you can display it somewhere in your home and always be reminded of your special day! I love that there are two options for the frame to be displayed. Depending on where you want it in your home, you could display the frame on the easel like in the picture from our reception or you can hang it on the wall. We chose to hang ours on the wall in a corner of our family room!
Conversation Starter
Both at the wedding and at our home, this guest book has been a great conversation starter! Our guests had so much fun picking out the size drop they wanted to use, writing something special to us, and dropping it in the frame. We had so many lovely comments about how much they loved it and how it was such a great idea! When we have visitors at our home, they see the guestbook and instantly ask, Wow, what is that? We share it is our guestbook from our wedding and the conversation goes from there.

I love that these guestbooks are not just for weddings! Any special occasion could use this framed guestbook. Think parents/grandparents wedding anniversary, sweet 16, homecoming party, really any event! They also have traditional shaped frames such as circles, squares, and regular frame shape.
