Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Review

Over the past couple of months I have started making Vital Proteins a part of my daily routine. I started noticing a significant amount of shedding when I combed my hair after the shower. There were also some areas on my head where the hair was certainly thinner than I would like it to be! I wanted to share my Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides review with you in case you were curious as well.

Google & YouTube should have the solution! I researched on what could be effective for thinning hair. I found the following and started testing the suggestions I found right away!

  1. Don’t brush your hair when it’s wet. I had never heard this before and always combed my hair right when getting out of the shower.
  2. Sleep with your hair in a braid. This was also something I never did. I kept my hair down and free to roam wild while I slept.
  3. When washing your hair, wash with shampoo on the crown (top) only and none on the ends. For conditioner, only on the ends and none on the crown. Well, this was new to me as well. Shampoo and conditioner would go all over my head, root to end. We are half way through the suggestions and so far I wasn’t doing a single one!
  4. Use a biotin or like shampoo specifically for thinning hair. I have been testing out a top rated one from the drug store below and so far so good. (However, this one is not for color-treated hair) I am also testing out NAVY hair care products, which are for color-treated hair, so will let you know what I think in the next update!
  5. Use a serum of essential oil blends. Definitely wasn’t doing this one. I have since been trying the Kiehl’s one below and it smells fantastic!
  6. Last but certainly not least, I watched a lot of videos about taking Vital Proteins.

I hadn’t heard anyone say they experienced any negative effects and for some they noticed a difference in their hair! I wanted to add this to my daily routine to see if I could also notice a difference and share the results with you in case you too were curious about Vital Proteins.

You can use Vital Proteins several ways. I add it to my morning coffee most days. In the past, I have also tried adding it to a green smoothie but it did change the texture a bit, which I didn’t enjoy. I found that using it in hot liquid helps it to dissolve better and I don’t notice a change in taste or in texture. An added bonus is that there are 20 grams of protein in each serving which helps you to stay feeling full longer.

The results I am experiencing could be from a combination of things but since I have been taking Vital Proteins daily I feel it is a huge contributor in the results. Either way, something is working!! I notice less shedding and can see baby hairs that are growing in.

I will follow up for you with a 60 and 90 day post to see what happens and share the results. Hair thinning and/or hair loss is no fun. You feel like it’s only happening to you and it also doesn’t leave you feeling your best. I wanted to share my Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides review and what I have been trying the last couple of months in the hopes it can help you, if you are going through a similar situation.
