Fall Home Decor

I have come to the realization that I am in love with home decor for whatever the current season is. I have to admit, Fall home decor is one of my favorites. The rich, warm colors and cozy vibes from the pumpkin spice candle smell throughout the house; makes me want to curl up on the couch with a warm cup of coffee and a blanket.

Usually, when I shop for home decor I tend to only shop at a select few places, but this year turned out different. I ended up finding all of my Fall home decor from two stores: Hobby Lobby and Home Goods. Hobby Lobby isn’t my typical stomping grounds. I happened to stumble in this year and was so glad I did!

In the entry way through the front door is the area I dare to say is my favorite. The majority of this was from Hobby Lobby but the sweater pumpkins I found at Home Goods. I found the raffia/black & white garland at Hobby Lobby and knew it had to come home with me. I then just had to figure out what I was going to do with it!

As I was looking around, I was keeping my eyes peeled for anything with a hint of black in it that could additionally play off the buffalo check in the garland. I turned the corner and found this Fall wooden sign which turned out to be perfect. Additionally, for some color, I added the orange wooden pumpkin (not online) and the sweater pumpkins (HomeGoods) to tie it all together. It quickly became the focal point of our home and I am in love!

In the kitchen, this is my first year having an area where I could really decorate. I used to have just enough room on the bar area for a little something but this year I had room to play! Everything pictured here came from Hobby Lobby, except for the candle I found at HomeGoods.

I brought home the metal stand (not online) and I had no clue where it was going or what I would do with it. It felt like a good piece to get, so I did! The larger white pumpkin is the same as the orange one in the entry way I liked the flow it created through the rooms. The Autumn Acres sign was too cute to pass up but I knew right away that was something I would put on top of our new corner hutch in the kitchen. The smaller gray & white buffalo check pumpkins came in a pack so I was able to spread them out. Lastly, I popped in a couple little sweater pumpkins and the kitchen was set!

The bar area in the kitchen is where I kept everything from the previous year..nostalgia in a way. This little set up was the bar area decor last year so I wanted to keep it the same this year. Hobby Lobby did have these wicker pumpkins again this year but I didn’t see any of the other pieces. Actually, these pumpkins come on a stick and I just twisted them off!

This little corner nook of our living room I love. We were at the mall one weekend and popped into Bath & Body Works only to find the cutest Happy Fall leaf wallflower night lights. Even in the daytime the light really shows through the happy fall lettering and is so festive. I propped up the rustic wood pumpkin wall decor next to it and it really livened up this little corner.

Lastly, I couldn’t forget about the front room that we turned into what we like to call our library nook. On the tables I used some of the wicker and sweater pumpkins that are spread throughout the house. I added in a Fall tissue box and lastly an Autumn candle and it became just as festive as the rest of the house. I also found these great pillows at Home Goods. Their pillow selection made it so hard to choose!
