Peek Inside My Wishlist Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

It’s that time of year again when the feel like temperature outside is 100 degrees and you can’t wait for Fall because you just got all the things from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Since this will be my third year shopping the sale, I wanted to do something a little different. I am sharing a peek inside my wishlist for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020!

I broke this down into sections making it easier for you to browse through. Wishlist items don’t always make it to my cart. Sometimes the item has sold out by my shopping date, sometimes I change my mind, and sometimes I read a blogpost or watch a try on and the review helps me to decide. I hope my NSale mini series will do the same for you.

I thought it would be fun to make this into three parts. My wishlist, what made it to my cart, and previous year purchases that I’m still loving and using. Today we are starting with the peek inside my wishlist. My Nordstrom status allows me to start shopping this Thursday, August 13th. Needless to say I will be ready to click add to cart as soon as I am able!

This year’s top categories were different for me than years past. For my wishlist I’m starting with categories that have a few top picks and ending with my largest categories. With that being said, I am starting with accessories.

One of the best things about Nordstrom for me is that they offer free shipping and free returns. Sunglasses are hard for me and I need to try them on. I won’t end up keeping all three but I will order all three to try them on and see which look the best. My first year shopping the sale I got a white Michele and I love it to this day. I added this one to my wishlist but in all honesty don’t think it will make it to my cart.

Onto home/kitchen items that made it to the list. I was super excited for these pillows as I have been on the hunt for quite some time for gray pillows. The blankets I’m making the assumption need no explanation 🙂 I was excited to see some variation this year. As I type this the nesting bowls are sold out but Nordstrom does hold certain products for restock usually for public access.

Shoes became a pretty big contender for the wishlist. However, there weren’t any sneakers that caught my eye this year. Traditionally I pick up 1-2 new pair for the year. Every year I have told myself living in FL, knee high boots seem very unnecessary. Every year I still want them. So, this year I’m going for it. They are a purchase that will last me year over year, which I love. I will be making some decisions come add to cart time but right now still deciding.

Women’s wasn’t that exciting for me this year if I’m honest. The pieces on my wishlist I am super excited about but overall it was ok. The t-shirts I will go with one or the other but think I’m leading toward Caslon. The jacket and sweater I think are the two pieces I’m really hoping are still available come the 13th.

When it comes to loungewear and pajamas, you’d think I wouldn’t want to touch with a 10 foot pole. Considering for the greater part of 2020 it’s been my uniform. Surprisingly, this was a category I was most excited for. Quite a bit on my wishlist is sold out as I type this post but here’s hoping for restocks!

My biggest category this year hands down was beauty. However, my first year shopping the sale was the same way. The NSale typically has a lot of products I use throughout the year already. They are larger sizes for less the normal cost and as a result saves me money. The sale also gives me an opportunity to try new products that have been on my list. Only the eyeshadow palette is unavailable at the moment and hoping it stays that way!

Hope you enjoyed taking a peek inside my wishlist for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020! I’m hoping everything you want you can add to cart 🙂 I placed my wishlist in my Shop tab as well. Stay tuned for the next mini series post where I will share which items made it to my cart.

Till next time
