From wishlist to Cart – NSale 2020! Does anyone else try to move their wishlist into their cart early on more than one occasion to see if it will allow you?? I’ll admit I am guilty of this! This year I was able to shop the Nsale on August 13th with Insider status. With that being the case, waiting till the 13th I kept looking at my wishlist and watching things move to “Out of Stock”. There are still some items on my wishlist that I am watching out for restocks!
I was able to snag a fair amount of my wishlist. The great thing was that I had a few gifts in there and was able to grab all of those. The NSale truly is a great time for gift buying. There were some items on my wishlist that are still available that I decided not to move to my cart as well. Wishlist’s help you shop fast and they also force you to make decisions.
Starting with Accessories since that is the smallest group. As you can see the watch did not make it to my cart and two of the three sunglasses made the cut. This section didn’t really wow me this year. For instance, there weren’t any handbags or jewelry that really stood out to me which is unusual. I have been wanting a pair of sunglasses without the nose pads for some time. I don’t know if I will keep both but I just may depending on how they fit my face.
Let’s go with shoes next. This was a pretty good section for me this year. Being 5’2″ I’m still hesitant on the below the knee boots but I am going to give them a try. Every year I have passed them up and still want them just as much so we will see! I love a good Fall bootie and am very excited about my choices! I love the ankle bone cutout on the Steve Madden pair. The Marc Fisher booties have mixed reviews but I love them online so decided to try them for myself and see what I think.
Moving onto kitchen/home decor, this was a tricky section. This is the area that has my most wanted items still out of stock. I almost bought a comforter thinking it was a duvet cover! Luckily, I noticed in time. I did find a couple great additions outside my wishlist as well. Super excited about this Fall colored blanket because I realized I have no Fall blankets and the smaller gray pillow was a great find. I am waiting for the taller glasses to restock because if they don’t, the shorter ones will have to go back. Fingers crossed! A few minutes ago I was able to snag the marble & wood serving board which I am super excited about!
Another section that had some pleasant surprises was women’s clothing. This Caslon tee is a closet staple of mine. Purchased the white one last year and this year grabbed a couple more colors. I discovered this lightweight pink jacket and went round and round with myself on the faux leather leggings. Feel like I need to at least try them on to make my final decision 🙂 I’ll be sure to report back!
Beauty is always my largest section. For me, they tend to have items that I already use year round and are in larger sizes for less the cost of the normal size I would buy. The toner, finishing sprays, and face wash are great examples of this. Alterna is a new product for me but I have heard great things about so excited to try that.
Loungewear and pajamas I think will always be my favorite! The PJ’s that were in my wishlist I’m still hoping they restock as I reload the page multiple times a day. These bras are amazing. I wear the one I have so much I picked it up in 3 colors this year.
I had lots of fun again this year with the sale and hope you did too. If you were not able to shop this year for whatever reason always remember that it’s just a sale. Recently I feel like more retailers are having really great sales. There will always be a sale somewhere and at the end of the day it’s just stuff. You don’t “need” any of it. If you were able to shop I hope you were able to move everything from wishlist to cart this Nordstrom Anniversary sale. In case you missed my first post in this little NSale mini series I’ll link it here. The last post of the mini series will be staples from past years that they bring back year and year that I still love and use.
Till next time,
